Bring on Mayweather!!

It’s been a Pacq-ing crazy week! No Pilipino pun intended…

All week the hype was building up, for both Saturday night’s fight and the Manny Pacquiao Trainers that dropped Saturday morning. Coincidentally on Saturday morning, dudes waiting to cop the kicks were fighting for their rightful place in line!? Let’s just say that when Los, Andy and Hek came into work that morn, they were greeted with quite the undercard! Guess the sneaker craze is still intact after all…

As for the Main Event, the LS Toronto crew hosted an event at Corner Place. The fight was being shown, our homey DJ Royale was spinnin (Mama Said Knock You Out-LL Cool J) and the drinks were flowin…The turnout was great as all eyes witnessed greatness go to work for 12 rounds.

Coming from a pro Manny camp, it’s hard to give a non-biased opinion of this fight…what I will admit is going into this tilt there was fear that the true welterweight, Miguel Cotto, could’ve ended Pacman’s march towards a record 7th title in 7 different weight classes. But when it was all said and done, the Manilla Gorilla was clinical in his 12th round TKO of Cotto. With tight defense and lightning quick counters, Pacqiuao was a joy to watch and definitely at the top of his form.
