The Cool Kids and Pacific Division (Pac Div) have announced they will be bringing us their brand of the mid-2000s hip-hop movement that found kids in all-over prints rapping about their shoes and their favorite forms of transportation to the Commodore Ballroom for one night of hip-hip mastery.

In the packed confines of clubs around their hometown of Chicago and throughout the world, The Cool Kids’ irresistible, hooky rhymes and club-cramming beats have seamlessly bridged the old and new schools of hip hop. Since forming in 2005 as a duo, The Cool Kids have been featured in Rolling Stone, XXL, The Source, Spin, Paper Magazine, CBS News, The New Yorker, The Fader, and on the cover of URB – all before the release of their debut EP!

As Hip Hop attempts to regain its definition, fans have already defined it with Southern California trio, Pac Div (Pacific Division). The group consists of brothers, Like and Mibbs, along with longtime friend BeYoung. The three came together in high school. While new talents strayed towards microwave music that trades quantity for quality, Pac Div crafted an original sound timeless sound influenced by the golden era of hip hop.
