Dj Hedspin takes on the World tomorrow @ the Commodore Ballroom for Redbull 3 Style World Finals
To coincide with the Redbull 3 Style World Finals tomorrow night in Vancouver, we have been running a banner, from his 3 Style win in 2008, of regional and national champ Dj Hedspin at our Gastown location. Make sure to get to the Commodore early tomorrow night as this party will surely be jam packed! Bring a Canadian Flag to support the hometown hero!
Getting to know … Jeff Staple
To coincide with Staple and Reed Space design coming to the shelves at Livestock, specifically the new Stapleton Reed Space X Penfield Jacket, we wanted to shed some light on the man behind it all. Founded in 1997 and based in the Lower East Side of New York City is the Design studio – Staple Design, the brain child of Jeff Staple. Check this great video put together by Canadian creative collective Eighteen Eighty, covering the founding of the brand, their design philosophies, and inspiration behind it all.

Here is a great video High Snobiety put together to showcase their collaborative Field Boots with Amongst Friends. Here is what they had to say about the boots in the clip:
“For Holiday 2011 we teamed up with our buddies from Amongst Friends on a special colorway of their high rise Field Boot. Keeping things both classic and exciting at the same time, we chose to go with a classic wheat suede for most of the upper, while adding navy nylon to certain panels of the boot. A collaborative logo tag is featured on the tongue of the boot.”

Our good friend Ben Tour is back a it again with a brand new print for sale exclusively through his studio. The print is titled DI3 and is printed with archival inks on Somerset Velvet paper. 255 gsm. This 18×24 print is limited to 50 copies and will be signed and numbered by Ben himself.
