Coming in late September we will be getting the Fall 2010 Reigning Champ line. Sign up to our Email list and Twitter page to stay updated on the exact drop date. Check out the new Reigning Champ Blog if you haven’t already. Here is what RC has to say about their Signature Fabric:
Heavy Weight Fleece:
“The foundation of Reigning Champ is this. What we are known around the world for is this. This is our Signature Canadian Heavyweight Fleece. Weighing in at 25oz. it is knit very tightly and has a stiffness that cannot be found elsewhere.
Often imitated but never duplicated with the same characteristics. Perhaps it has something to do with the water in Canada. Has a starchiness hand and stiffness that makes garments hold it’s form. Yet the loops of the French Terry interior give a comfortable feel and wear.
We use large #8 zippers on our zip hoodies to match the tough and rugged character of the fabric. Flat locking is used on all major seams for strength and to keep the seams flat. Bar tacks are positioned where needed to add to the durability and strength to our garments. A sturdy 1×1 ribbing is made to match the character of the heavyweight fabric.
Reigning Champ as a brand is built around this Signature Fabric. Reigning “Heavyweight” Champ.”

Here we have some images of the first 2 pieces of Oakley’s project with Jeff Staple. The Oakley Eyeshade and the Oakley Radar. The Eyeshade will be limited to 150 pieces worldwide & the Radar will only be available at flagship Oakley accounts. Both have obvious influences from the sports world, fuzzy tennis ball lining on the Eyeshade and dimpled rims on the Radar to mimic a golf ball’s exterior. Both will be on our shelves in the next month, stay tuned to our Twitter page HERE and our Mailer list HERE for more info as it comes in.
As you may or may not know, the Canadian ambassador of hip hop, Drake, got together with Alife NY and other Canadian superstar, dj A-track, to produce one of Alife’s classic “sessions” in the back court yard of Alife NY the day before Drakes Thank Me Later LP dropped. In 1991 Lucky Luciano and his Supermax boutique brought La’s hard core swap meet style to the heart of Hollywood, it quickly became the hub for street and hip hop fashion. The Hundreds in collaboration with Supermax are releasing a limited edition range of tees, and sweats based on original artwork from the true OG streetwear brand. All graphics were originally illustrated by hand and done by Lucky’s partner and renowned tattoo artist Mr.Cartoon. 18 years later they have added a few touches to the original film and brought back the pioneer of La street style. The collection will be available at all livestock locations mid week.
