Ben Tour Art Exhibit Mar.8 – 31 @ Catalog Gallery: Notes from the Underground

Our good friend Ben Tour will be showing  his latest collection of art work at Catalog Gallery this month.  Make sure to check out the opening on the 8th from 7pm – late. Catalog Gallery is located at 100-56 Powell Street, Gastown, Vancouver. Ben’s art will be showing from the 8th to the 31rst, the gallery is open from 1pm – 8pm Wednesday – Sunday.

Narwuar X Odd Future

Thought we would re-up this interview our fellow Canadian, Nardwuar the human serviette, conducted with Odd Future last year at the SXSW music festival. Make sure to mark March 15th on your calendar if you are in the Toronto area as the Wolf Gang will be performing at the Sound Academy, along with some other ODD happenings.

Rapha Triple Crown

Here’s an oldie but a goodie, this vid covers some great footage from last years Rapha Triple Crown race, check the Livestock jersey at the 2:32 mark, looks like a great time had by all. The Triple Crown is loosely defined as the summiting of Vancouver’s Seymour, Grouse and Cypress mountains in one effort. There’s no rule regarding in what order the climbs must be done, only that they have to be completed in one day.

As you probably know, we have had a great relationship with the good people at Fortune Sound Club since the doors opened 2 years ago. So many amazing acts and performers have rolled through and graced the stage over the past year that FSC have put together a quick video of all the people who made the past year such a success.
