With 3 successful restaurants under their belt our good friends over at GUU have now opened up shop in Toronto. With chefs trained in Japan, they now bring authenticity to a city already rich in ethnic cuisine. If you haven’t been to one of the three locations in Vancouver we highly recommend GUU as a place to bring a date or even host an Xmas party. The staff, food, drinks and overall vibe are some of the best we ever experienced. We wanted to send a huge congrats to the entire GUU team…..I’m sure Toronto will embrace you with arms wide open!
Revel In The Summer Heat
I just want to say thanks to the fine folks at Revel Room across the street from our Gastown store. I have food from there at least once a week and I’m never ever disappointed. I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich, mini-burgers or full sized bacon Revel burger. Revel is also a great spot to see some pretty girls and have a cold drink on a hot summer day in Gastown. Huge thanks to Sean and Dennis for keeping us well fed and happy.

East Bound Down…
Livestock Gastown alum Torey gave the TO crew a surprise visit this week. Torey made the move East Bound to Montreal for school and he’s actually reppin’ my old hood, NDG Stand Up! It’s his first time in Toronto so in true Stocker fashion we had to take fam out for some beers…

Pulled Pork And Jo-Jos
Los, I see your Philly cheese steak and raise you this. Shawn from Revel Room across the street from the Gastown shop comes in frequently and sometimes laces us with these amazing pulled pork sandwiches with potato jo-jos(basically seasoned fat wedges). Hits the spot every time even if you didn’t know the spot was there.
