Fortune Sound Club 2011 in Review
As you probably know, we have had a great relationship with the good people at Fortune Sound Club since the doors opened 2 years ago. So many amazing acts and performers have rolled through and graced the stage over the past year that FSC have put together a quick video of all the people who made the past year such a success. We are all looking forward to 2012!

DJ Hedspin takes the 2011 Redbull Thre3Style Championship!
After worldwide qualification battles, the top 18 international DJ champions had to battle for the title of ‘world’s best party rocker DJ’ at the Red Bull Thre3style World Final 2011 here in Vancouver. Big shout out to our homie DJ Hedspin for taking the World Championship title the other weekend. Check the highlight video below, and stay on the look out for him coming to a city near you in the future.

To coincide with the Redbull 3 Style World Finals tomorrow night in Vancouver, we have been running a banner, from his 3 Style win in 2008, of regional and national champ Dj Hedspin at our Gastown location. Make sure to get to the Commodore early tomorrow night as this party will surely be jam packed! Bring a Canadian Flag to support the hometown hero!

Red Bull Thr3eStyle World Finals Dec.13th-17th in Vancouver
Preliminary elimination events for the Redbull 3 Style World finals start in Vancouver on the 13th of December and roll through the 17th, where the Finals will be held at the Commodore Ballroom. Each night is headlined by one or more main headlining acts alongside the evenings competing DJ’s, from the entire Rub crew & Smalltown dj’s to Just Blaze, Peanut Butter Wolf, Skratch Bastid, Team Canada DJ’s, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, DJ Nu Mark and Z-Trip. This week will be one to mark on your calendars for sure, if you are from Vancouver or coming in from outside Provinces, make sure to come root for the hometown hero and Canadian champ Dj Hedspin on Dec.14th at Venue nightclub.
