Canadian Superbike Champion Brett McCormick

The Livestock Crew wants to send a solid congrats and good luck to Brett McCormick on his SBK debut with Liberty Racing- Team Effenbert Ducati. Brett is the reigning 2011 Canadian Superbike champion and did a stint in the AMA on the Jordan Suzuki in 2010, check the first photo below. You can catch the race on speed TV this Sunday @ 11am PST. Rapha Triple Crown

Here’s an oldie but a goodie, this vid covers some great footage from last years Rapha Triple Crown race, check the Livestock jersey at the 2:32 mark, looks like a great time had by all. The Triple Crown is loosely defined as the summiting of Vancouver’s Seymour, Grouse and Cypress mountains in one effort. There’s no rule regarding in what order the climbs must be done, only that they have to be completed in one day.

Nike Running: Some Time Together

Here’s a smart video that Nike filmed in Vancouver not too long ago showcasing our city’s great scenery and Nike’s Lunarglides. If you check for it you may notice some familiar neighbourhoods like Gastown and area’s of Downtown and Main street.

IRONMAN

Big shout out to our owner Gary Bone for taking part in this years upcoming Iron Man Canada. The race will take place this coming Sunday the 28th in Penticton BC, and for those of you who aren’t familiar, it is one hell of a journey, to put it into perspective, it’s like travelling from our Gastown shop to Merrit. Athlete’s taking part must complete the following distance’s: on foot – run 42.2km, in the water – swim 3.8km, and 180km by bike. Good luck GB!

Canada Day Re-cap & Livestock 3 on 3 Basket Ball Tournament Winners

Big shout out to Cherchez la Femme, Fortune Sound Club, and everyone else involved who helped make this past Canada Day Jam another success! From burgers and tacos, to music and basket ball, there was a little something for every one at the park this past Friday. Many thanks to all the dj’s who came through and provided the summertime soundtrack for the day as well. After a few intense rounds of 3 on 3, the Livestock Sponsored Basket ball tournament was won by the Newbies, congratulations guys, well deserved! Check the Events page for more photo’s.
