2009 look back – Yeeeeeezy
Continuing on our 2009 year in review, being one of the most anticipated releases of the year would have to go to the Air yeezy. Designed by self-proclaimed rapper Kanye West, Nike took all his inputs and specifications to put out this hybrid of styles. With specifications such as extra thick in-soles to glow in the dark outsoles. This was definitely a huge drop in 2009.
With such an exclusive release, we were one of the lucky stores to carry them, and I guess people found out the news. Check out some of the line-ups we experienced.
…and the winners are…..
Big thanks goes out to the 100+ peeps that arrived this morning for the highly anticipated 3rd release of the Yeezy. This time around we held a raffle and it went super smooth…..congrats to all the winners!! We’ll be seeing the rest of ya’ll real soon…..keep posted.
Its Just Begun…..
So here we go again….. the Yeezy madness begins! Shout out to Cagney & Tommy who drove down from Buffalo to secure their 2 sizes and complimentary LS Tee for being first in line. Congrats! Mark shortly joined the line 15 mins later….welcome. Its 11:30am on Tuesday…..they definitely set the bar higher this time around. Forecast calls for sunny days all week…..lets hope that sticks. We’ll keep you posted in the days to come.
