Puma brought us their newest Rudolf Dassler collection, in which we have two Chukka Schuh’s and a dark slate grey Strecker mid. Puma commemorates their founder Rudolph Dassler with This fresh modern collection featuring classic styles with modern flair. The collection is masked by distressed leather and waxed washed canvas. New Puma Delivery

Puma brought us 5 new kicks this week. First up we have the Classic Black Suede Archive, not to be confused with the Clyde – but very similar. It doesn’t get much better than these, fat laces and a crisp white leather interior, definitely a must have for any sneakers heads collection. Puma takes it back to the 80′s with this next revamped style, the Puma Dallas. Here is the iconic silhouette produced for us all in two colourways, a straight forward black on white, and an electric cobalt contrasted by a silver foil inner lining. Last but not least we the Puma Benecio Low, a soft leather upper matched with a cushioned footbed for added comfort. The rubber mid and outsole will prove these to be a comfortable selection for everyday wear.

Puma Lows-Comp Star & Classic Clydes

Puma has delivered a 3 pack of lows for us this week. First up we have The Puma Comp Star, a classic tennis shoe, arriving in time for you to display that back stoke you’ve been practicing this past month in style. Following the Comp Star are two classic all leather Clydes. First up we have a rich mahogany Clyde with beige striping throughout the mid, next we have the Creme Brulee or Honey leather Clyde Worker with contrasting maroon striped laces, and inner details reminiscent of a work boot.

Livestock X Puma X Ferrari

Two years in the making: On this coming Saturday May 22nd we are proud to release our 7th shoe collaboration. (as well as our 8th, 9th and 10th). This project is really about aspirations, goals, and accomplishments. It took a long time for us to decide on a direction for this project. We really wanted to come up with something that was close to us and something that made sense with Puma and what their company is all about. A few years back Puma sent me to the Montreal Grand Prix. As excited as I was to see the Formula One race I was equally stoked to check out the support race, The Ferrari Challenge, which included a series of identically prepared Ferrari F430′s. Ferrari, for more reasons then I can count, is my favourite brand and seeing that race inspired me to start racing. With Puma’s involvement in motor sport and them being the people I credit as the ones who got me into racing, I thought it would be the most fitting to do something motor sport related. We approached Puma about turning this project into a three way with the involvement of Ferrari. Puma was stoked on the idea and contacted Ferrari to see if they could get down. To my surprise they said they would be interested in seeing what we came up with and would be open to the idea. A few weeks later and with some help from long time Livestock friend Bob K, we had a pitch in hand and presented it to Ferrari. They loved it and gave us the green light. We decided the Puma Mid would be the best fit for the project, and the plan was to do three colour ways.

With Ferrari as inspiration, the colour palette was easy, Red, Black and Yellow. Classic Ferrari colours. For the interior of the shoe we used a leather insole and perforated pig skin for the lining. The footbed has a Livestock race track screened onto it with corners being named after things related to Ferrari, Livestock , F1, and Puma. With our branding covered on the insole and the lace locks, and Puma’s branding being in the classic spots, we decided that the Ferrari shield logo would fit perfect on the back of the shoe. One of the signature details of the suede is the perforated size marker on the tongue.

We decided this is the perfect place to pay homage to one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time, who also happens to be Canadian, Gilles Villeneuve, #27. When the day comes for Livestock and Puma team up and campaign a car in the Ferrari challenge, I hope to wear the number 27. To wrap up the motor sports theme we used all black soles and had them scored to take on the feel of a race tire and packaged the shoes in a helmet bag. This collection of shoes has been offered to select retailers around the world, Puma’s List dealers and is being produced in very limited numbers.

As always with almost all of the Puma List shoes, there will be one more colour way that is exclusive to the designing store, in this case it’s us. This final shoe is based on the Livestock X PUMA Honda S2000 race car that we won last years Improved Production2 championship with.

Keeping it clean and inline with the car’s colours the shoe is all white. The ferrari logo is not used on this one instead it is replace with the #46, our race number, picked in tribute to Valentino Rossi, the greatest motorcycle rider of all time.

Before the start of the new race season we always design a new graphics package for our car and this year we decided to take a different approach. We hosted a month long contest on the Livestock website inviting anyone interested to design our 2010 livery and in return they would get the full set of shoes. We had almost 40 entries and we narrowed it down to Ryan C’s design.

Thanks to everyone who entered and Ryan, I hope you enjoy your shoes. To wrap this whole project up into a nice little package Livestock and Puma teamed up with Deep See productions to produce this short video. Hope you all enjoy it and thanks for the years of support. All four Livestock locations as well as our online store will be carrying all four colour ways.

Puma Tekkies Brites

Puma has come through for the Ladies with two perfect summer time shoes. The Tekkies Brites come in a Ribbon Red, and Birch/Teak colourway. These flexible low tops are put together in a lightweight canvas and come with multicoloured exchangeable laces.
