With colours similar to the Phoenix Suns, the kicks have also been nick named after the team itself. The predominantly black, cool grey upper is paired with hits of Deep Royal, and Bright Citrus seen on the tongue, midsole, and outsole. Details also include the 23 across the kicks cross straps also detailed in a citrus / royal colourway. Available in store and online HERE this Saturday May.18th @12 noon PST, 3pm ET.

Nike Barkley Posite One "Suns" (555097-581) - As the shoes state, Chuck is no role model. Although Sir Charles stands by that statement, his Retro kicks have garnered quite a following since their return over the past few years. Following up the huge All Star & Area 52 Posite releases, this shoe has also received a lot of attention leading up to this weekends release. The Suns colourway incorporates a“Godzilla” concept, associated with Charles and his style of play, seen on the speckled Posite material throughout the upper. Fitted with a Huarache inner for added comfort. The kicks will be available in store at 11am, after our in store line up dies down, any remaining pairs will be released online later in the afternoon Saturday May18th.

The shoes feature Dynamic traction pattern for multidirectional movement along side a lightweight thin rubber outsole. ANDREW'S PICK OF THE WEEK: PUMA X BLACK RAINBOW R698 OG

Parisian Black Rainbow, founded in 2006 by Jay Smith and Greg Hervieux, pairs up with PUMA to produce this special R698 pack.The PUMA R698 was a 90's runner that features Puma's Trinomic technology.

Inspired by all things 'war' with its earth-like qualities and camo styled colouway, the R698 OG features a mixed nubuck and ripstop mesh upper in green and brown colours. A gum outsole is layered onto the off white midsole with the Puma Trinomic gel cushioning unit in a translucent blue. Dual branding logos can be seen on the heel with the addition of the Black Rainbow button logo on the tongue in teal blue. Black Rainbow branding is also featured on the teal blue insole.

One of my favorite touches on this sneaker is the 3M hits on the Puma logo and the toe box. The punches of that teal blue on the eyelets, tongue button, and heel branding really makes this shoe pop, especially when combined with the more subtle earth tones.

Definitely a great collaboration, and a sneaker even non-Puma fans I'm sure can even appreciate.

YURIE: By far not a one-dimensional DJ, Yurie delivers a fusion of driving, melodic, rich progressive and electro-house but adapts her sound to any venue atmosphere from hip hop, all the way to dubstep. Her versatility, high energy, and ability to enthuse any crowd is what keeps Yurie rising within the DJ music scene.

With her Japanese and European roots, DJ Yurie is inspired by different cultures and her love of music. Beginning at the age of 7 by studying classical piano and voice, she continues to focus on music theory which has helped her grow an impeccable ear to detail, heard in all her sets. Inspiration of becoming a DJ first came to her in high school, when friends noticed her eclectic taste in music and began asking for monthly mix-tapes. At 17 and under the tutelage of DJ Leanne, DJ Yurie discovered a natural passion for mixing. A year later, she acquired her own turntables. With a determination to succeed and her added schooling in Radio Broadcasting, she has seen herself achieve a high standard of DJing. Since then, DJ Yurie currently holds residency at Bar None's "Grand St. Friday's" and BLVD22’s “Le Privé Saturdays”, and continues to erupt dance floors at a variety of clubs and events across Vancouver.

Happy Ending Fridays features the world’s best on rotation alongside local superstars.
