Here we have the Flashy Lunar Elite Trail Mid + (417641-001) and (417641-500). Both of these bright Mid’s can only be purchased in store at our Gastown location and at our Online store, very limited as we only received 24 pairs total. The Lunarfoam Midsoles on these runner/hikers feature a great speckaled pattern, and a Flywire panel can be found on the upper alongside breathable mesh panels. Whether you are looking to hit the trails in style or simply chanel your early 90’s neon, these are a great choice for the quickly approaching Fall.
Nike ACG dropped off another new piece for the collection. The Nike ACG Stumptown Composite Hoody (377772-010) is as comfortable as it is technical and innovative. This Hoody is comprised of post-production waste material. Originally the material used in Nike Air midsole units, it’s now featured in the trims, zipper pulls and cord locks of the garment.
Converse teams up once again with renowned Dutch artist/illustrator Parra to bring you the Converse CT PARRA RED Hi (120864) in a Sesame Suede. These limited edition Project (RED) Hi’s are coated in stitched on Parra cherry figures. BBC offers six new tee shirts to choose from this week as well as a Billionaire Boys Club Key Chain. We have new floating logo Ice Cream and Cone Head tee amongst some other Classic’s including an all black Astronaut face tee. Perfect timing for those of you who are heading back to school in September.
HUF footwear has finally made its way into our stores and is available online. Fresh from the factory we received three brand new styles in the High top Hupper, the low top Choice and Genuine. The Natural off white Hupper features a Gumsole toe stripe, and, as found on the other Blue and Red Huppers, a leather H stitched onto the side panel. The Blue canvas Choice Low contains similar traits to the Natural Hupper Hi. Here you see the star striping all the way around the kicks sole and a gum toe stripe as well, leather capping on the heal for that extra detail. Lastly we have the Genuine, a Low top Slip on offering. This original silhouette sports a stretchy one piece material for the laces and extra padding in the piping around the heel and ankle. HUF is here to stay, expect a lot more to come from this great line of footwear.
The Hundreds Footwear came through with four choices this week. The Wayne High came in a new grey on grey colour scheme, lifted off of a classic gumsole. The Valenzuela Low got a recreated treatment with a perforated leather touch this time around, classic style, very wearable colour ways. The Johnson Low got a remodeling as well, here we have the popular low top constructed completely in black corduroy with a plush cotton insole for added comfort.
Lots to choose from this week from The Hundreds Apparel. Nine new tees, two hoods, two button up shirts, snap backs and more. If you were looking for something new to grab for back to school gear, The Hundreds has you covered. This series of photographs takes the idea of how skateboarders see and use urban structures and “paint” the city with their skaeboards. Skaters mark up and wear out these structures and continue to reshape and add colour to our cities.

The Adidas X Luker by Neighbourhood collabo dropped off some more goods this week. The selection grows with the addition of three highly anticipated kicks, first off the Adidas X Luker ZX KZK Boat Shoe that is covered in details. The ObyO logo is found on the tongue and heel strap, and is also etched into the top silver lace eyelet. Fine Black Suede makes up the majority of the shoes body and toe box, were you will find extra detailing in the intricate leather piping. The following two Superstars need little introduction. These black and white classics were featured on our Blog a while back and are now finally here. Made up of supple leather and kept very clean as far as detailing goes, Luker by Neighbourhod takes its spot right next to the well know three stripes, and the Luker Crest finds itself on the heel and tongue of the kicks. With the amount of attention this trio has garnered don’t expect your size to last long, grab a pair here. Adidas X Luker left us with two hoodies last week, here we have the matching black and grey lightweight tee shirts, very comfortable. The ZX Boat Shoe and Superstars are available in all four locations now, they will be available online at 2:30 pm PST on Friday Aug.20th.
Last week we were delivered an Adidas X Luker Kids tee, to complete your kids styling outfit we now have the Adidas X Luker Superstar Crib, the Superstar for kids, and a matching Adidas X Luker Track Suit. With out a doubt whoevers kids end up with this kit will be the freshest on the playground. No details were spared on the kids outfit, as all the same logos and branding that are found on the standard size Superstars and apparel are carried over to these stand out miniature outfits.
Converse teamed up with famed Ukrainian born New York underground artist SSUR for this clean collabo on a Pro Leather 76 Hi top. The shoe is a simple black nubuck suede upper with the classic chevron branding incorporated in a subtle perforated style. For a refined look a neoprene tongue was brought in to the equation which is bordered with two strips of snakeskin like leather. The insoles of the shoe combine to give you the effect of a ” Great Black Shark” launching out of your shoes in full attack mode, final details include SSUR’s signature skull and crossbones on the heel and a Mettalic gold Shark tooth lace lock.
New from Nike this week we have three kicks and two ACG No Attack Parka Jackets. As Nike is known to re-invent themselves, we find our collections of Air Jordan Phat Low’s and Toki ND’s growing stronger with these new designs on modern day classics. The Black and green 338145-003 low, sports a variety of other colours in its stitching as well as a bright red jump man and Air Jordan logo placed on both the heel and the tongue. The perforated Toki’s keep it simple, both bear a solid colour lifted off of a crisp white sole, that is separated by a blue stripe, in the case of the the Matte Silver 385444-005, and a Golden Harvest stripe on the Black 385444-006 model. The two Nike ACG No Attack 550 Parka’s come in Beige and Black for those of you that want to get the jump on the fast approaching Fall weather. Filled with 550 grey goose down and sporting a removable faux fur hood liner, these jackets are 100% polyester and military inspired in design.
Puma brought us 5 new kicks this week. First up we have the Classic Black Suede Archive, not to be confused with the Clyde – but very similar. It doesn’t get much better than these, fat laces and a crisp white leather interior, definitely a must have for any sneakers heads collection. Puma takes it back to the 80’s with this next revamped style, the Puma Dallas. Here is the iconic silhouette produced for us all in two colourways, a straight forward black on white, and an electric cobalt contrasted by a silver foil inner lining. Last but not least we the Puma Benecio Low, a soft leather upper matched with a cushioned footbed for added comfort. The rubber mid and outsole will prove these to be a comfortable selection for everyday wear.
Last week New Balance brought us two selections from their Sonic Weld Pack, here we have a third addition. This light brown 574 Runner carries the same attributes as last weeks releases, the Sonic Weld technnique is an environmentally friendly alternative to sewing or gluing. This shoe was constructed with the process of heat and pressure application to the seams of pattern pieces, fusing the shoe together cutting out waste and crafting the sonic welded shoe to be airtight and watertight.
Four new releases from Vans Vault. Two new colourways in the Suede Era LX in both black and Grey, complimented with offset colourful laces and insole. We also received a Navy Blue colourway in the new Vans silhoutte the Chukka Buckleback with adjustable heel strap, rounding out the delivery we have a plush purple suede Old Skool LX.
