The Nike Women's Space Hippie 04 tackles climate change from an uncompromising perspective, challenging the limits of sustainability at every step of the design process. Its upper is comprised of 75% recycled Space Waste Yarn Flyknit (recycled plastic bottles, T-shirts and yarn scraps) in an effort toward a greener future. The innovation doesn't stop there either, as Nike's revolutionary ZoomX cushioning technology is reworked using recycled materials — resulting in a comfortable unit that uses roughly half the CO2e as most foams. Likewise, a speckled Crater Foam midsole absorbs impacts underfoot to deliver a record-breaking carbon footprint — made using reprocessed Nike Grind materials. Meanwhile, a durable and sustainable Flywire lacing system locks the Nike Women's Space Hippie 04 down, plus pull tabs allow for ease of access and removal.
