NIKE AIR MAX 1 PREMIUM QS SAIL / UNIVERSITY RED (665873-106) - Nike's Air Max 1 was first fabricated on March 26th, 1987.  This year, Nike is making an official holiday out of that day with the release of this Nike Air Max 1 "Air Max Day".  A reprisal of the original white/sport red silhouette designed by Tinker Hatfield that first showed the world visible air.  The "Air Max Day" quickstrike features a premium construction with commemorative detailing.  A durable upper holds long-haired suede on the mudguard and Swoosh, riding on top of a full length phylon midsole.  Original AM1 coloration keeps it classic with a white, grey, and university red on the upper, modernized with a volt midsole and inner lining.  Finishing off the special edition, this rendition features "3.26? birthday tags on the tongues.
