D-mop was first established in 1988 by a group of young Hong Kong fashion stylists who wanted to bring London's fashion scene to their city. In 2005, adidas Consortium created a double label Superstar with D-mop that became one of the most coveted pairs of sneakers on the market. They were originally limited to only 300 pairs worldwide and many people were found lined up in front of stores trying to cop these ultra rare Superstars. Celebrating the 10th year for adidas Consortium, they have decided to join forces with D-mop once again to produce another limited edition pair of Superstars. This edition features a sleek white leather upper, red adidas Stripes with a blue suede trim and branding on the heels. The embroidered date signifies D-mop's conception.
adidas Consortium has taken it back 10 years to collaborate with Footpatrol once again. Footpatrol has always been a hub for sneaker heads in London and are an iconic headquarters for sneaker culture in Europe. Their first drop with adidas Consortium was green, but this time they have chosen a premium Terracotta croc-embossed leather in orange. The Footpatrol mask and initials are placed on the rear of the shoe and the adidas Stripes are outfitted in a tonal orange. These Superstars are lined with leather and suede and the shell-toe and midsole come in a classic off-white shade. The adidas Consortium x Footpatrol and the adidas Consortium x D-mop 10 Year Anniversary Superstars is available at our Toronto, Chinatown, West 4th locations and online now.
