ASICS

Following WWII, ASICS founder Kihachiro Onitsuka’s passion for footwear hit a boiling point after he noticed there was a much needed demand for sneakers in Kobe, Japan. Deciding to help nurture a healthy lifestyle within the Japanese youth, Onitsuka began crafting basketball shoes to help spur on positive innovation in 1949. Since then, Onitsuka's company is now better known as ASICS and their designs have continued to impress throughout the ages — always pushing forward for the sake of developing superbly made, world-renowned shoes.
