ASICS X PACKER SHOES KAYANO TRAINER CHARCOAL & PURPLE - Packer Shoes is celebrating their 10th anniversary of their current store location at Teaneck, NJ. To start off the year-long celebration on the right note, proprietor Mike Packer partnered with ASICS to create their first collaborative designs. The two pair collab is dubbed "All Roads Lead to Teaneck" and based on the original 1993 ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer. These special editions highlight the various highways and routes, including Interstate 95 and State Highway Route 4, that intersect at Teaneck. For a bit of realism on the first release, ASICS added dark grey speckles onto the charcoal pigskin suede to denote the asphalt-paved roads. A Neoprene ankle collar and reflective 3M accents in streaks of yellow-orange resemble the double yellow lines while the green overlay plays of the part of the Interact sign. Finally, a touch of red refers to the various traffic signals and brake lights. Available in store at all Livestock locations and online HERE.

The second release from this collab is the The Packer Shoes x ASICS Gel-Kayano "A.R.L.T." Vol. 2  which picks up right where the first "All Roads Lead to Teaneck" collab finishes off. Dressing the retro runner in a dark magenta with hits of bright orange to juxtapose a grey pigskin suede toe box. The original Kayano tongue tagging remains retro, while black 3M hits near the laces and heel provide subtle accents.
