LE COQ SPORTIF x LIMITEDITIONS 10TH ANNIVERSARY ROSE EXD / ROSE

To celebrate their 10th year in business, Barcelona's premier sneaker boutique LimitEditions has teamed up with French sportswear heavyweight Le Coq Sportif. The Sportif Eclat model was chosen for the double label, with inspiration for the colour scheme coming from the celebration of Saint Jordi, a Catalonian party which takes place yearly on April 23rd. To celebrate the Spanish Patron Saint, the tradition is to offer a rose to your loved one. The sneakers use a rich red suede for most of the upper, with contrasting hits of brown suede on the heel, next to green leather on the heel tab - echoing the colours of the rose. Embroidered onto the backside of the kicks you will find LimitEditions EXD logo coupled with a rose on the left foots heel. Final details include sections of red reflective material on the back of the shoe right above a speckled midsole, which sits on top of a gum outsole.
