Founder and former FUCT SSDD designer, Mei Yong, launched the brand in 2017 after being drawn to the contrast between “liberate” and “raiders.” Together, alongside Yong’s attraction to rock n’ roll music, photography and streetwear, Liberaiders represents an attractive paradox aimed at re-evaluating and demolishing norms one collection at a time.
