Founded in 1994, Maharishi has consistently remained true to its commitment to create functional, organic and environmentally-conscious clothing. Founder Hardy Blechman launched the brand with a strong focus towards “upcycled” wares — taking shape through the curation and incorporation of vintage army surplus in many of their pieces. Season after season, the resulting designs are frequently blessed through traditional Indian cleansing rituals, repurposed with a modern appeal, all while being driven by utility in the most meticulous of ways.
